STAHLWERK DC TIG 200 Puls Pro full equipment
-
Digital professional TIG welder with MMA E-Hand and pulse function, suitable for thin sheet metal
- The STAHLWERK DC TIG 200 Puls Pro is a powerful TIG welding machine with MMA/manual welding function. One of the many advantages of this DC-powered 2-in-1 combination welding machine is its compact design and the intuitive control panel, on which all functions are clearly arranged. Individual parameter settings, such as pulse current, pulse frequency, long and short pulse, can be made quickly. The DC TIG Puls Pro has comprehensive functions. Welding thin sheets is just as possible as processing strip steel and flat iron. In short-pulse mode, the temperature and the weld pool can be controlled very well. In long-pulse mode, a deeper penetration can be achieved to produce wider weld seams. Advanced IGBT technology enables maximum performance in TIG and MMA welding. The DC TIG 200 Pulse Pro IGBT welding machine is supplied with a comprehensive accessory package.

Functions
- DC TIG welding – direct current (DC). Welding of almost all metals, such as steel, stainless steel, copper and many more. Note: Not suitable for aluminum – for this an AC/DC unit is needed.
- 2 in 1 combination unit – TIG welding is possible up to 200 A, MMA welding up to 160 A.
- Extensive pulse function – TIG PULS – prevents burning through materials and reduces deformation due to heat, especially suitable for welding thin plates whose material may be heated only slightly. Adjustable parameters are: Pulse current, pulse frequency, long and short pulse.
- 2T/4T (TIG) – determines the control of the operating mode and provides extended control over the current flow. In 2T mode, high frequency (HF) ignition remains active until the button on the torch is released. In 4T mode, pressing and releasing the button once ignites the arc. After pressing and releasing again, the ignition is terminated. Some functions, such as current reduction, are only possible in 4T.
- Current reduction – prevents the formation of shrink marks (end craters) at the end of the weld.
- Gas follow-up (TIG) – protects the tungsten electrode from excessive wear and protects the weld seam from oxidation. The parameter can be set individually and separately. It specifies how long gas should flow after ignition.
Features & Advantages
- IGBT Technology – Latest and most advanced transistor technology enables highest power and high duty cycle (ED)! No transformer, no MOSFET, state-of-the-art IGBT!
- Lightweight & compact design – only 5.8 kg weight and dimensions of 365 x 152 x 275 mm. Innovative IGBT transistors save space and weight compared to old MOSFET technology. No more heavy carrying!
- HF ignition (TIG) – enables non-contact ignition and provides much better welding results. No LIFT ARC, no strike ignition!
- Welding Current / Pulse Current – With the two parameters “Welding Current” and “Pulse Current” you can set two different currents for one welding process, between which the welding current then always alternates.
- Pulse width – The pulse width is used to set how long the welding current assumes the current strength of the pulse current before it swings back to the normal welding current strength.
- Pulse Frequency – The pulse frequency sets how often the current intensity alternates between the two set values in a specified time interval.
- Longpulse – The weld becomes wider, the heat input is higher and the penetration is deeper.
- Shortpuls – The weld pool is easier to control and there is less risk of welding a hole in the plate.
- Innovative hose package including modified WP-26 torch with flex head. This enables flexible and easy working.
- Hotstart – Automatic voltage increase at start-up for better ignition results.
- Anti-Stick – Automatic shutdown of welding current when the electrode sticks, allowing easy removal.
- TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) – Shielded metal arc welding with inert/inactive gases such as Argon 4.6 (99.996%). An arc is created between the tungsten electrode and the workpiece in an argon bell. This melts the material and any filler material added. A weld seam is produced.
- MMA electrode welding / ARC welding – a universal welding process. An arc melts the electrode to form the weld. No shielding gas is required.
- Job memory – memory option for self-configured settings / presets. There are 10 memory locations available.
Note:The unit is not intended for use in residential areas where power is supplied by a public low-voltage power system. It may be difficult to ensure electromagnetic compatibility in these areas due to both conducted and radiated interference.
